In What Manner Will Antichriſt Appear? How Will He Attain Sovereign Power? And Where Will He Be Resident?
ACCORDING TO S. Hierome, his beginning will be from Babylon. His coming, saith Daniel the Prophet, will be secret, and by fraud will he obtain his Kingdom. For according S. Hierome, S. Cyril, and S. Damafien, he will be a most hypocritical sycophant, and dissembler, entering by mildness,& justice, & suddenly what by such encroaching, what by witchcraft wherein he will excel, he will usurp any universal monarchy, as a dreadful monster said to issue out of the sea, because of his sudden appearance in royal authority.
To which do belong the words of St. Paul: whose coming is according to the operation of Satan, in all power, and lying 2.Theſ.2.v.6. signs, & wonders, & in all seducing of iniquity to them that perish for that they have not received the charity of truth that they might be saved.
Another mean of his sudden authority will be his infinite treasure. For as the Prophet saith ; He will have dominion over the treasures of gold, and silver and in all precious things of Ægipt. To whom, ſaith S. Anselm, will all hidden treasures be brought by Satan then let at liberty, whom no such secrets will escape. Also all principal fends will be attending on him, and his affairs, outwardly in shape of men, soliciting, bribing, in forcing men to obey him, & inwardly suggesting by futile delusions all that they may allure. Who when they cannot persuade by such means: by torments, by diseases, & hook & crook they will subject whole multitudes to his dominion.
Also a powerful motive to yield unto him, will be his forsaid lying signs, & wonders, but much more his unlimited might, whereby he will subdue, and trample in a trice all that will oppose themselves. So faith St. John, And power, Was given to him upon every Tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation.
More over his coming in all seducing of iniquity, by abominable doctrine,and all example, will draw infinite followers of licentious life to submit themselves to him; the rather that preaching, and other exercises of Religion will be abolished, and all that may entice to wickedness will be plentiful, & in those days all sin will be allowable, and laudable.
As for his seat of residence is commonly supposed it will be in Jerusalem: where he will first restore the temple, and after exalt himself above all that is called God, as after shall be shewed.
Principally his tyranny will be over and against the Roman Empire, and all parts thereof, although all other places will hardly escape him. Would God poor Ireland might have some privilege, or exemption from his fury in those times, by being never any parcel of the said Empire, and being particularly prayed for to that effect, by our most glorious Apostle St. Patrick, as in many appeareth.

Ukraine claims that Russia has already seen around 89,000 troops killed in a little over nine months of war, with around 450 more being killed each day.
However, this figure has not been independently verified and Western estimates of Russian losses have been lower.

Who is Antichrist, or how long will be his Dominion, according to the opinion of certain ancient Doctors?
OF Catholics you may find in Pererius upon the Apocalypse, divers (as Annius of viterb, Henthenius, Clitoueus, Prateolus , Genebrard) affirming or insinuating Mahomet to be Antichrist.
S. Hypolitus imagined that Antichrist will be begotten by the Devil upon a public harlot. S. Augustin relates of others thinking Nero to have been Antichrist. The common opinion de Ciuit.c.19. of ancient Doctors is, that Antichrist will be that abomination of desolation which Christ foretold should sit in the temple. In which opinion are S. Ireneus, Hierome, Hilarius, Ambrose, &c.
The ancient Doctors do also resolve, that he will be a Jew, and of the Tribe of Dan: for which cause they imagine that S. John numbed nor that Tribe among the residue Apoc. 7. Also, even by confession of Whitaker, and Fox, they taught that he should be but one man, and not continue but three years and a half, The fathers for the most part taught, that Antichrist should be but one man. Almost all the holy and learned Interpreters d by a time, times, and half a time, understand only three years and a half.
So that I need not allege their citations, their consent being so openly acknowledged. To whom by decrees do consent certain of the less malicious Protestants, as Zanchius before named, that the rage of Antichrist will not surpass three years and a half. Marie, Fox (whom Forde, and Downham, follow) led by a willing spirit, sine voce tamen, yet without any speech, resolved to stretch these three years & a half to 294. years; notwithstanding all the Holy learned interpreters judged otherwise. But the express scriptures precisely & diversely specifying this time of Antichrist by three years and a half, by 42. months, and by 1260. days, we may lawfully distrust these Foxes, not only in such their name prefiguring Heretics (according to the exposition of S, Augustin, and S. Ambrose) but also in practice schematically departing from the acknowledged consenting opinion of the Fathers, how soever they impudently beare in hand some time universally to agree with their belief.
As for his being of the tribe of Dan, saith Luther: vulgata opinio est apud omnes firiptores Ecclefiafticos quod ex Tribu Dan Luth.ad c.49. venturus fit Antichrijtus. It is a received opinion among all Ecclesiastical writers, that Antichrist will be out of the tribe of Dan. In ſaying then the Pope to be Antichrist, who is of nor such Tribe, nor otherwise Jew: is it not insolent presumption, seeing that the Pope is so wrongfully reproached, and all Ecclesiastical writers so disdainfully contradicted?
What Tribe or nation soever he shall be, S. Paul expressly warns us, that we be not terrified, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by Epistle, for his coming before the revolt; that is the suppressing of the Roman Empire, and Emperor both for Imperial power & name. which not being hitherto done, as all the world may witness, what fools are they that are terrified without spirit, or word, or Epistle of others then blaspheming heretics, only upon lying improbabilities, yea impossibilities, affirming him to be already come, and now to continue above a thousand years?

Sermons On Antichrist For Advent: Who Is Antichrist According To Vulgar Opinions Of Heretics
1. POINT.
Who is Antichrist according to vulgar opinions of heretics.
IT hath been oft showed that our Protestant Reformers have not settled belief in anything, nor in which be found any agreement even with their own brethren. Whereof Frusius in his Epigrams makes this pithy interrogation:
Vna fides cum fit, quam nos docuere parentes, Cur nunc tot fidibus luditur vna fides?
One holy faith our Godly Parents knew alone: why now a new belief forgets a part each one?
It has been manifested manifold in other matters, and is now to be shown at this point. In which you must first be persuaded that among heretics, each one is termed Antichrist by whom they are condemned; as to Rebels, each king is a tyrant; to thieves each Judge a murderer; to the impious, each godly man an idiot. And so for this purpose which we have in hand, to the Brownists, the Puritans are soldiers of Antichrist; and to the Puritans, the profession now in England, is Antichristian; The Calvinists to the Lutherans, and the Lutherans to the Calvinists &c. This therefore is their first opinion, the one of themselves to the others of his brethren, co be Antichrist or Antichristian, when they iarr together.
The second opinion of heretics would have the Turk to be ipsisimum Antichristum, the most assured Antichrist. In which were Bucer, Melanithon, and Fox.
The third opinion of heretics is, that the Pope of Rome is Antichrist. So saith both Luther, and Calvin, never having any author of their opinion even among Heretics, before Peter John, who lived anno. 1194. as may appear in Guido Carmelit. To whom would fain also accord the whole group of Lutherans, and Calvinists, and other heretics at this time : but they can not resolve which Pope, or weather all ehre Popes together, they would have to be Antichrist; or from which of them they might begin to accompt the succession of Antichrist. In this they are long consulting, but can not as yet come to any determination.
Some would have Gregorie the 7. who lived anno. 274. to be Antichrist so thought Francis Junius, and Downham, expressly affirming: Gregory the seventh was the first Pope who was openly acknowledged to
be Antichrist. But this being said so openly known is contradicted first by Bullinger, supposing the fatal year of Antichrists beginning to have been 763. Secondly is contradicted by Fulke; Downham, and Willet specifying Boniface the anno. 607. to be Antichrist.
Thirdly it is contradicted by Osiander affirming S. Augustin first preacher to the English to have subjected England to the lust of Roman Antichrist; who then anno 600. was S. Gregorie the great. But Whitaker impugn this, saying: Dicimus Gregorian Magnum fuiffe vltimum uerum dapium illius Ecclefie E- cótra. Bellar. Pifcopum.&c. Quienim fecuti funt veri fuerunt Antichrifti. Gregorie was a very honest man, but his immediate successors were Antichrists. This time, saith he, do we determine to be the beginning of Antichrist. Fourthly, all this is contradicted by Whitakar himself, agreeing with Beza, that Pope Leo anno. 440. was. Antichrist, and breathed the arrogance of the Anti-christian Roman Sea. Fifthly, all this is overthrown by Melancehon who resolutely affirmeth Zozim anno 420. to be the first Antichrist; as also by Naper defining the year to be anno: 313. Sixth, there formed Church of Transylvania (as it is termed by Hokenin his Ecclesiastical policy) overreach all these, and would have Antichrist to have first appeared anno. 200. Seventh, Sebastiane Francus disliking all these opinions would have the visible Church immediately after the apostles times, to have been suppressed by the Antichrist.
Eightly, Beza thinking he might be as forward as the best, and affirm with as much reason as the former whatsoever he listed, concluded, in the very time of the Apostles, Antichrist to have begun. Which in plain and sincere terms is to affirm the whole profession of Papists to have begun in the Apostles.
And for that cause the Centurists, and Calvin, although they do not term S. Peter Antichrist, yet as they might, they calumniate his person, and cavil with his profession, registering 16. notable defects in him, & his doctrine. By which it is demonstrated, that our Reformers have little interest in the Apostles whom they so endeavor to blemish.
Ninth, all this clear doctrine could not hinder Couel, & Powel plainly to confess, that Protestants can not agree when this defection began of Antichrist; which truly is the truest opinion of all the former.
Lastly notwithstanding all this uncertainty, repugnance,& impossibility, the late Calvinian Synod at Gap. anno. 1603, made an article of their profession of faith that the Pope without all doubt was Antichrist, Even Clement the eight whom S.Edwin Sands in his Relation assures to be a good man, a good prince and a good Prelate, and with whom, his Majesty denied not civil correspondence.
But the said Sinodists, understanding that the King of FRANCE, took in evil part (as well he might) that his subjects should have any article of belief, that he was a slave of Antichrist: upon better deliberation, they revoked the said Article; as the Puritans do accuse others in England, now to fall from that opinion of the Popes being Antichrist, being (according their Imagination) a strange error & absurdity.
Therefore the fourth opinion of Heretics is, that Antichrist is not yet come, nor to conme until the Roman Empire be suppressed. So determine m Bullinger, Zanchius,Schelico, Frăciscus Lambertus, Vicelius, and divers others, as acknowledgeth D. Doue, saying: some Protestants make a doubt, whether Antichrist be yet revealed, or not.
So that, as I said in the beginning, it now appeareth, that they can not certainly, either believe, or not believe whether the Pope be Antichrist, or who else is, or whether he be past, when he was or when he is to come.
This may suffice for the opinion of Heretics: although this last opinion is but borrowed from us, after their despair to prove their damnable error that the Pope should be Antichrist.

Saint Dionise immediately after the Ascension of Christ taught when the sermon was usually made in his time, saying: Osiulantibus omnibus mistica facrorum volumina, predicatio perficitur. When all have kissed the book after the reading of the Gospel, (which was during the saying Credo) then the Sermon is made. To which S. Clement, and he also disciple to the Apostle, according in these words: Post lectionem legis & Prophetarum &c. After the lesson of the law, prophets, & the Gospel; alloquatur populum sermonibus exhortatorijs, let him exhort the people by sermon.
Which being presupposed sufficient to contest the antiquity, and verity of this point: their remaineth only to deliver instead of a sermon, the wonted subject of sermons upon the precedent Gospel of Advent Sunday. Which being of Antichrist, and nothing more needful to be known, or forewarned then the person, power, and perdition of so Capital enemy of God, god lines, and of all Gods servants; I intend to treat briefly, yet distinctly of what to him may principally belong, by distinct, and several points for more methods sake.

ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION: JERUSALEM WILL SOON BE UNINHABITABLE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME UP UNTIL THE MANIFESTATION OF THE ANTICHRIST

Chrysostom: Whence I think that by the abomination of desolation, He means the army by which the city of the holy Jerusalem was desolated.
des·o·la·tion /ˌdesəˈlāSH(ə)n/ a state of complete emptiness or destruction.
The words of Jesus: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation
The Second Person of the Blessed Trinity used the word desolation.
Desolation.
Does this look like desolation?

So in order for the Temple to be desolated then the surrounding city must be uninhabited. A ghost town if you will.
You can not have the Temple desolated when you have a Starbucks down the street. Or 800,000 souls living near the Temple...
No.
In order for the words of Jesus - the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity to come true then there must be DESOLATION in the Temple and in order for the Temple to be DESOLATED then the whole of Jerusalem must be a ghost town - kind of like present day Chernobyl
This means that there will be no Jews in or around Jerusalem up until the coming of the Antichrist.
No Jews in Jerusalem.
No one in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem will one day become uninhabitable.
Once Jerusalem is Desolated then the Temple will be Desolated.
Then you shall see the abomination of desolation foretold by the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity.
The Antichrist will set himself up in the Temple
and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, Who opposeth, and is lifted up above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself as if he were God. 2 Thess.2.
Soon no one will be allowed in Jerusalem.
How so?
Plague.
Some horrifying event that leaves all 800,000 inhabitants dead.
Something unexplained. Something terrifying that will make everyone avoid Jerusalem.
This is the only way that Jerusalem and the Temple will be considered DESOLATE.
Once DESOLATE then the ABOMINATION will appear in the Temple.
When will this DESOLATION occur?
Long after the death of the TWO POPES.
And we must witness the rise of the Forerunner to the Antichrist as Our Lady of La Salette has said:
“A forerunner of the Antichrist, with his troops gathered from several nations, will fight against the true Christ, the only Saviour of the world. Then there will be a persecution of the Church by the Forerunner to the Antichrist and 35+ years worth of chastisements. All this takes place before the manifestation of the actual Antichrist. So during this 35+ years worth of chastisements, all of Jerusalem and the Temple will be uninhabitable and DESOLATED......

Last Sunday After Pentecost: Time Of Year To Serious Think Upon The Antichrist And His Forerunner

Every year at this time you get to think upon the Actual Antichrist.
Most who attend the Latin Mass think that the Actual Antichrist is alive and near at hand.
The Majority of Latin Mass attendees ignore or are ignorant of the fact that there is first a Forerunner to the Antichrist well before the manifestation of the Actual Antichrist.
This information on the Forerunner to the Antichrist is found in the Message of Our Lady of La Salette.
Most if not all of those who attend the Latin hate Our Lady of La Salette and hate Mélanie. I always thought that this was rather strange. Until I realized that the reason for their hatred is because they see themselves in the Message of Our Lady of La Salette. This is what Mélanie said over a hundred years ago that there will be men who see themselves in the Message and will attack the Message. I guess it is true.
I have identified men mentioned in the Message.
I have identified the Two Face Napoleon.
I have identified the Forerunner to the Antichrist.
Both men are FSSP. One is a Layman who attend the FSSP and the other is an Archbishop who is favorable to the FSSP.
I have also identified when the 35 years of chastisements start - when the Two Popes are dead.
I am the only one who claims that we have Two shaky, servile, doubtful popes as Mélanie had said we would. And I am the only one who uses the Two High Priests who sat in Judgement of Christ as evidence that there can be Two Popes.
I am also the only one of the opinion that the Actual Antichrist will be a false convert to the Catholic faith in order to gain a kingdom by fraud and deceit and that he will revert back to Judaism in order to persecute the Catholic Church. And by default the Forerunner to the Antichrist will be a false convert to the Catholic Faith in order to gain a kingdom and he will persecute the Catholic Church as well as Our Lady of La Salette had said.
The newest thought I have is that the unknown light foretold by Our Lady of Fatima has not happened yet and I believe that this unknown light will occur during a new moon when the last of the Two Popes dies. And that the death of Pope Benedict will occur during a new moon either this year or next.
I don't have any new information or thoughts on the Forerunner to the Antichrist other than what is above.

That Witches can with safety anoint their hands and their entire bodies with their Magic Ointments: yet if they but touch
the Edge of a Person’s Garment it will
at once prove fatal to such a one, provided that it is the Witch's intent to
Hurt. For otherwise such Contact is
harmless and does not injure.
ITCHES have another most
treacherous manner of applying their poison; for, having their
hands smeared with it, they take hold
of the very ends of a man’s garment
as it were to entreat and propitiate
him. Thus it is hardly possible for
you to be on your guard and avoid
them, since the action has an appearance of kindness rather than of injury.
Nevertheless, it is a most instant
poison to the body, as has been made
manifest by frequent experience: and
it is the more marvelous because the
witch’s bare hand endures with complete safety the poison which thus penetrates even several folds of clothing. You may say that there have
been men who have transmitted the
infection of the plague to others
although they themselves were free
from it; but this is not a parallel case.
For, as will be explained elsewhere
(Bk. I, Chap, XXXVI), this touch
of a witch is noxious and fatal only
to those whom the witch wishes to
injure: whereas the infection of the
plague strikes those whom you least wish to harm. And this forces me to
believe that, in the case we are considering, something is due to the
hidden ministry of the Demon, which
does not appear but works in secret;
and that the unguent is merely the
outward symbol of the wretched
witch’s complicity in the crime under
the guidance and advice of the
Demon. Indeed we know from experience that the Poison can with impunity be handled and touched by
anybody after the witches have been
thrown into prison and have renounced their partnership with the
Demon; and the officers who are sent
to search for their boxes of poison are
able to bring them back in their hands
with safety.
This was proved not long since
(and Sept., 1589) at Furscheim, a
village in German Lorraine. Marie
Alberte and Catharina Praevotte,
just before they were sentenced for
witchcraft, were asked to say whether
they had left any of their evil poisons
at home, so that after they were dead
these venom might not be a danger
to any. They at once told where the
poison could be found; and the
searchers brought two earthenware
vessels containing bitumen spotted
with yellow and white and glistening
here and there with specks of metal.
Otillia Kelvers and Anguel Yzarts
(6th and 7th Aug., 1589) of the same
town, and several other witches in
other towns, were found to have done
the same. Some may think that the
witches give such information in order
to curry favor with their Judges,
and that they cunningly indicate
some unguent which they have prepared for some other and ordinary
domestic use instead of the true
poison; but this is not the case, and
there are many clear proofs that there
is no pretense or simulation in this
matter.
For, in the first place, if these
unguents are put upon the fire they
flare and splutter and glitter as nothing else can. Jeanne Michaélis of
Etival (2nd June, 1590) has testified
to this fact. Again, there have been
seen_cases of witches who as soon as
the Judge has given them permission
to rub or anoint themselves with the
unguent, have at once been carried
aloft and have disappeared. Lucius
Apuleius (Bk. III, de Tino Aureo) tells
of Pamphile* that she in the same
wat applied such an unguent to her-
self and, after a few tentative leaps
from the ground, flew up and away
in full flight. And however much
witches may differ concerning other
matters, they are all, when questioned, agreed about the magic use,
properties and powers of this ointment. They are even particular in
describing its color; and this provides further proof that the matter is
no dream, but visible and perceptible
to the eyes. At St. Dominique, end
Dec., 1586, Jeanne Gallée tells that
the Demon gave it to her wrapped in
oak leaves, and that its colour was
white: and that she nearly always
had her hands smeared with it that
she might never be without the means
of doing an injury on any occasion.
At Haraucourt, 2nd Nov., 1586, Alexée
Drigie agrees with this, except that
she declared hers was reddish in
color: and she adds that when, at
the instigation of the Demon, she
anointed with it her husband who was
Iyiny asleep by her side he very soon
ied in great agony, writhing and
contorting all his limbs.

THE King has told actor Luke Evans how his bloodline shows he is related to Vlad Dracula.
The Hobbit star had just finished the 2014 film Dracula Untold when he first met His Majesty, who was then Prince of Wales.The actor, 43, played a fictional version of the 15th century Romanian ruler Vlad III, also known and Vlad the Impaler, Vlad Tepes and Vlad Dracula.
In the movie, Vlad turns into a vampire.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, Luke said: “I remember the first time I spoke to Charles. I was super nervous.
“He came up to me and said, ‘What are you working on?’ and I said, ‘I’ve just finished a movie about Vlad, who turns into Dracula.’ And he went ‘Funnily enough, I’m related to Vlad Tepes.’ Source

Jordan Bardella: heir of France's Le Pen at just 27
Jordan Bardella, a self-confident 27-year-old, looks set this weekend to confirm he is the rising star of France's far-right politics and the favoured heir to veteran leader Marine Le Pen.
The Paris-born politician is odds-on to be selected by members of the anti-immigration National Rally (RN) party as their new president at a congress on Saturday. Le Pen decided to step back from the role after 11 years at the helm.
Formerly known as the National Front, the party had been run by Le Pen's father Jean-Marie for 40 years before that.
Bardella would be the first party chief outside the family dynasty in a half-century.
"The fact the party president will not have the name Le Pen is the sign of openness and confidence that Marine has in the new generation," Bardella told AFP during a recent trip to eastern France.
Not that the ultra-loyal protege, who was elected to the European parliament in 2019, is planning to try to overshadow her.
"I am a continuity candidate, with the aim of building on the incredible legacy that Marine is handing over," he added.
He expects and wants Le Pen to take a fourth run at the presidency in 2027 after her record 41.5 percent in April's election run-off against President Emmanuel Macron. She then fronted the party's parliamentary election campaign in June which saw the RN capture 89 seats, a 10-fold rise making it the biggest opposition party in the national assembly. Source
